Win ME will continue to run your DOS games from within a DOS window. BTW, there is no real DOS (boot to DOS option) available in ME. Which means some DOS games which run better in true DOS mode will require a reboot using a floppy disk. CJ>No joy - it refused to run, throwing up an error message that my CJ>system configuration was not supported by the Wheel Of Time game. CJ>Now some months ago, someone in another fido echo claimed CJ>that there exists a patch to the game and game demo that CJ>allows the demo and the full game to be run under NT4. But CJ>on www.wheeloftime.com don't contain this patch. Does CJ>anybody in this echo know of a patch that will allow the CJ>Wheel Of Time game to be run fom NT4? Log on to the Microsoft News Server (msnews.microsoft.com) with your News Reader (Outlook Express works fine) and ask in the W2K general group. Someone there would be able to help you out with that. That group is monitored world - wide. CJ>How do you prove that you have NT3.1/4.0? Must you send in CJ>some sort of coupon or some such or does it suffice that CJ>you have the NT4 CD on hand? The thing is that I bought NT4 CJ>from a guy who had legally purchased his copy - when the CJ>package arrived here, it contained the CD, install CJ>diskettes and the install manual on whose front Microsoft's CJ>Certificate Of Authenticity (including serial #) was CJ>printed. MS will either verify your previous registration of NT 3.1/NT 4.0 on file or otherwise you'll be required to send in proof. Sending in proof usually means the original MS container or cover from the book. CJ> CJ>> ) Team OS/2 E-mail: cribo.jacobsson@gaea.se CJ> CS> A "Teamster"?
