Thanks for all of the info. The friend that I'm trying to help has a 
Linksys 10/100 router and had it almost all running until the client 
system crashed. From my understanding to using a router over a hub and 
maybe WinRoute was to avoid the extera monthly charge for the second IP 
address. Is that correct?
