Paging file. Windows swaps part of the kernel out to the paging file. Most 
likely you are seeing that activity. The performance monitor in Windows 9x 
sucks. Perhaps you can find a better one on the Net? I will look and ask around 
to see if there is one. You might want to ask the question in OSDEBATE. Don't 
let the name fool you. There are some Microsoft developers that take part in 
that echo. There are also some very knowledgeable users/developers there. They 
may be able to better assist you. You might also drop a message in WIN95.
