Quick and dirty way.  Buy a Linksys router.  It'll do what you need,
and provide a good bit of security by "stealthing" ports.  I use the
8-port version at home with four machines.  A WinNT, Win2000, Win98
and a Mac(!).  Works fine.  It replaces or augments any existing hub.

I bought Model BEFSR81 and they have two and four port models as well.
