Buy a Linksys router. -> -> Actually, I was hoping to get by without spending any more money -> on the system. In fact, I'm el-broko.:( Well, if you have no hub, it's limiting you to a second NIC in one of the machines and some sort of Internet sharing (ICS). Never very satisfactory. -> I was going to call you yesterday but lost the number. :-\ Work number is 401-272-9550 x131 (afternoons only) -> With the networking installed, the modem gets sync, but reports the -> network name instead of adsl.216.XXX.XXX.XXX as WORKGROUP. I have -> no hub, this is just 2 ethernet cards and a crossover cable. The cheapest and best way out is to grab a cheapo hub at CompUSA or a catalog. Maybe $25. Then try to get a second IP assignment from the DSL people. -c- --- ViaMAIL!/WC v1.60d * Origin: Chowdanet (401-331-5587) telnet://chowdanet.com (1:323/120) .
