Well, if you have no hub, it's limiting you to a second NIC in one
of the machines and some sort of Internet sharing (ICS).  Never very
satisfactory.

The cheapest and best way out is to grab a cheapo hub at CompUSA or
a catalog.  Maybe $25.  Then try to get a second IP assignment from
the DSL people.
