The most-often-reported problem w. SE is in the Shutdown routine... I'd say that if you have no need for SE's Internet Connection Sharing (it sounds like you don't), then the original W98 will do just fine. CJ> Btw, how is Win2000 doing when it comes to gaming? Any older game that requires MS-DOS Mode (or a boot disk) is definately out-- though you COULD run it from a boot floppy (or a NT/W2K boot to DOS)-- as long as you're able to access your hard drive that way (i.e. an older DOS boot and a FAT32 partition is not going to work). In any event, I seem to remember having trouble installing W98 into any folder other than the default-- this is easy to do with W95, but my (somewhat unreliable) memory is that I couldn't do it with W98. ....
