OK, so then I can buy a Win98 upgrade kit and install it, that's good. But now I'm in a sort of quandary... The software supplier that I often use when buying here in Sweden has *both* the Win98 upgrade and the Win38SE upgrade for the same price. Now I have heard somewhere that 98SE has been more problematic to install and use than the plain 98 (1st edition). So which version should I buy? I'm only going to use my 98 install for running some games and accessing Internet through my ADSL modem via an intel 10/100+ network card, so I won't boot 98 very often. Btw, how is Win2000 doing when it comes to gaming? Can I run games under Win2000 that runs just fine under 98/98SE? The thing is, there exist a good upgrade from NT4 Server to Win2000 Prof, a Version Upgrade (VUP) for under $300 incl. VAT. Suppose I first install 98 or 98SE on the Win3.1 partition: then 98 will get much of it's information regarding folders, programs etc. from the 3.1 setup. Can I then re-install 98 on another partition, telling it *not* to migrate applications and such from my old 98/3.1 installation but install itself in a virgin condition, i.e. with it's supplied folders and defaults? /GAIA (Insulin User - 4th Anniversary & 19th Wedding Anniversary :-) ) Team OS/2 E-mail: cribo.jacobsson@gaea.se --- GoldED/2 2.50+ 16SW2 * Origin: Team OS/2 - E-mail: cribo.jacobsson@gaea.se (2:205/104) .
