Subj : change monitor type under win2k To : Dale Ross From : Leonid Butenko Date : Tue Oct 03 2000 04:21 am Hello Dale! 30 Sep 00 22:28, Dale Ross wrote to Leonid Butenko: LB>> How can I change monitor type under win2k? DR> Right mouse click your desktop DR> Choose Properties DR> Choose Settings DR> Choose Advanced DR> Choose Monitor Yes. There I can change refresh rate, but when I'm returning to the Settings control tab (properties->settings) and trying to change screen resolution, it selects incorrect refresh rate. Say, if I selected 1280x1024, it sets 60 hertz, although my monitor can only work in interlaced (47 hertz) mode in this resolution. It's because w2k detected my monitor as Default monitor and doesn't allow to change it. Is there any tool which allows to do this?
