I go into Display -> Settings -> Advanced and see the next tabs: Adapter; Monitor; smth. else; In the Monitor tab there's no ability to change "Standard VGA Monitor" - the button exists but isn't active. In the Adapter there's written "VGA", I also can't change it. Although Devices Dispatcher shows Video Adapter as "Riva TNT2 M64". So I guess the problem is with my hardware. All that looks very strange, because noone can help me with. I have no choice 'cause the usual W2k installation tries to enable ACPI regardless of my BIOS and then hangs. Sincerely yours, *Alexey*. .... Come, sleep! O, sleep, the certain knot of peace! Ph.
