Subj : Win2000 refuses to insta To : William Grinolds From : Rich Wonneberger Date : Mon May 29 2000 02:16 am William, You got a lot more reported then I did. My report only listed 5 items. The video card is easily changable, but I think it caught the embedded Adaptec controller or the version of s-ware. My report was much shorter then yours so I may have missed something in setup or running it. *** Quoting William Grinolds to Rich Wonneberger dated 05-28-00 *** > Universal serial bus controller > VIA VT83C572/VT82C586 PCI to USB Universal Host Controller (not > currently present) (bit del) > BTW, according to everything that I've read about my motherboard, PCI > Slot 1 will share an IRQ with the AGP, and PCI Slot 4 will share an IRQ > with USB. It is enabled in BIOS?? One of the things I was told, for PCI to share the IRQ you have to set 'level trigger' in the BIOS for it. Beyond that, I'm out of ideas.
