I'm effectively handling this with my batchfiles.  Just needed you guys to give 
me a shove in the right direction to get there. <heh>

Right now, I'm using fileboxes with Argus, and I set everything to crash out.  
So, this stuff has so much time in order to connect.  If not, we'll get it on 
the next event.  I'm not moving around big mail or files, so I think I'm 
allowing enough time for things to go through.  Cool thing is that I'm about to 
save one sysop some long distance calls for his nodediff and Fidonews, and I 
can centralize mail going out to Telnet-only systems (with which Irex cannot 
connect).
