All the media players change the resolution when you put them in full screen mode, also if you pcanywhere to a machine running at a higher resolution than you are at it's nice to be able to switch so it at least matches. One thing I don't like about Windows resolution changing is that if you go smaller than your desktop all the icons move to fit the new screen, then when you go back they stay moved and you have to move them back. There should be a "save desktop" option so you can restore them. Geo.
