has the 98-> registry changed at all? I doubt it... and since Win2k doesn't 
know about ME, if you put the disc in, and tried to upgrade... it'd probably 
behave just the same as upgrading from 98 -> 2K


It's not something I'd recommend.. I've done a few 95/98 -> 2K upgrades.. and 
in all cases.. between a week, or a coupla months later, I ended up wiping the 
disk clean, and installing fresh..

It just works better (tm)
