     The 17" is not important.  The same problem would very likely exist
with a 15" LCD which are even more common.  CompUSA near me looks to sell a 
bunch.  What I believe is important is the digital interface.  The folks 
selling or distributing Linux should be getting as much hardware coverage as 
they can.
