Subj : Re: Forced registration in Whistler To : SG [MS MVP-DTS] From : Glenn M. Date : Fri Mar 30 2001 05:10 am From: "Glenn M." Like on the Music Copy Protection front, this will just bring the hackers to bear on the registration, and in a short period of time, there will be some program or hack that will disable all this stuff. Just like the guy who is selling the Windows Lite program, which is a method to unistall all the Win98ME and SE parts of Windows that get installed with no method to remove them. His program adds all that "stuff" to the Add/Remove Programs menu, and allows you to unistall the stuff you don't need/want taking up space and system overhead. -- Glenn Meadows "SG [MS MVP-DTS]" <48249333@naxs.com> wrote in message news:3ac47bc3@w3.nls.net... | Robert, | | I couldn't agree more with your statement and I personally think it's | stinks, but it doesn't change the fact it's there and it's here to stay no | matter what we think.
