Again, you can do what I do which is to place the packaging in = my closet or on a shelf. For some products, like my video adapter, I = have no use to keep the CD handy so the box with everything is put away. = In the rare case I need it, I have it. If I were to place my software = CDs in a carrier of some form I would put the jewel case away where I = have the license, docs, and other stuff worth saving. For anyone that decides to throw out the jewel case they can = do whatever they want to remember the ID. Do many folks here throw out = the jewel cases in which software is packaged? I never do. I don't see = why I would." I think David's idea's a good one. I tend to buy these multiCD Hard boxes (12 CD'es per Box) & then I = call them things like "OS'es", "Site Tools", "Java Tools","Apps", "DB Stuff", "Backups-Data", "Backups-Code" stuff like that. So in "OS'es" I have a couple of copies of Win95 (Orig + release2), = NT4S, NT4WS,OS/2WSEB, Win98, & numerous copies of Linux (SuSe, Mandrake, = RH). In Apps I have 3 different copies of MS Office (the Access2 = version,Office 97, Office2K), StarOffice5.2, Lotus SmartSuite (various versions). The boxes are rock hard & stack better than lots of jewel cases. Also = I then know where to look for an OS, a desktop app, a Java tool etc. Adam --- XP Toss HTML Stripper v0.3.5 * Origin: Barktopia Gating Project (1:379/45) .
