For anyone that decides to throw out the jewel case they can do whatever they want to remember the ID. Do many folks here throw out the jewel cases in which software is packaged? I never do. I don't see why I would." I think David's idea's a good one. I tend to buy these multiCD Hard boxes (12 CD'es per Box) & then I call them things like "OS'es", "Site Tools", "Java Tools","Apps", "DB Stuff", "Backups-Data", "Backups-Code" stuff like that. So in "OS'es" I have a couple of copies of Win95 (Orig + release2), NT4S, NT4WS,OS/2WSEB, Win98, & numerous copies of Linux (SuSe, Mandrake, RH). In Apps I have 3 different copies of MS Office (the Access2 version,Office 97, Office2K), StarOffice5.2, Lotus SmartSuite (various versions). The boxes are rock hard & stack better than lots of jewel cases. Also I then know where to look for an OS, a desktop app, a Java tool etc. Adam --- BBBS/NT v4.00 MP * Origin: Barktopia Gating Project http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) .
