You don't want a sticker on the CD. The MSDN CD-ROMs for Windows 2000 have the license key as part of the label but I believe that everyone uses the same key. I wouldn't expect every CD to be unique. That would seem to be very expensive. To make sure I just opened the Windows 2000 shrinkwrap box I have for the first time and as I expected the sticker is on the jewel case. I don't see why Adam would have different expectations for losing the physical software product than he would for losing a book, music CD, or a cell phone." All that money & all I've bought is a sticker???? Flaming heck....hang on..if this is the case then why all the holograms etc? Surely if it's the Stciker which makes the product not the CD then MS should print lots of CD'es & leave them in bins in PC shops. You could then pick up say five (as backups) & then independantly pay a couple of hundred pounds for the sticker. I repeat I haven't lost the "physical software product ". What I had lost was the Product Key / number. Adam --- BBBS/NT v4.00 MP * Origin: Barktopia Gating Project http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) .
