Photoshop isn't the only game in town. Use some cheaper Linux based package 
thats free.  I won't buy a new Ferrari, so I use a VW instead.  Same concept.

Actually I probably could afford a new Ferrari, I choose not to buy one because 
I can't justify its expense compared to the VW which performs the same basic 
tasks.
