Subj : Re: anyone recommend backup solution To : Geo. From : Alan Cairns Date : Thu Mar 29 2001 11:45 am From: "Alan Cairns" Drive Image. It is quite fast, but you need to boot a DOS session. (It comes with an image of a DOS boot disk, so you don't actually need a floppy). You can use DI File Editor to restore individual files and directories from the image. One use I can see for it in future is as insurance against the copy-protection scheme for XP. Install once, get all the necessary serials, and make an image of just the OS. If you ever need to re-install, just restore the image. -- Alan alancairns@dccnet.com "Geo." wrote in message news:3ac3f182$1@w3.nls.net... > What do you use to make the image?
