As for base 2D image quality, I only have an old Millennium (getting pretty old), it's probably the worst quality video card I have. I swore off Matrox cards because of this card and the drivers. But I guess it may be slightly damaged as well. Right now my favorite card is the ATI Radeon All in Wonder I have in my main PC -- while it's not quite as fast as the Elsa, the image is just as good, plus it has all those other video features.
