I did and it worked (sort of - see below).

I think when deleting dlls to uninstall Sygate it wiped one that Intellimouse 
Explorer needed.

I downloaded the latest IntelliPoint drivers for the IM mouse. Kinda wish I 
could find the old drivers I had though: The effect now in some apps is that 
when I use the scroll wheel over certain windows a second window in the app 
scrolls at the same time. So the event is going to too many windows.
