Subj : Re: Get full exe path for all running processes? To : Randall Parker From : Rohan Beckett Date : Mon Mar 12 2001 02:37 pm From: Rohan Beckett on a similar note... Does anyone know of a way to kill a process using the command line? sadly.. this is due to a few 3D games I play on my Win2k box... when they occasionally lock up, I can alt-tab, but they seem to stick on 'always on top' so, although I can bring up task manager (via control-alt-delete) as soon as I switch to it, it dissappears! and 95% of the time, ctrl-esc will bring up the start menu.. but the taskbar itself is hidden. the only app that I can bring up (and control) is cmd.exe, and make it full screen.. If I could somehow kill the process via it.. things would return to normal. in short.. I need the kill command from *nix :) Rohan.
