Yes, the LDAP accounts stuff, that's what I was deleting. Last thing I need is 
for my computer to give my email address out to some directory.

     Are you referring to the certification authority certificates or the
directory services (LDAP) accounts configured in Outlook Express?  It sounds 
like you mean the latter which BTW are contacted only if you go and check the 
option to use them for name resolution and then only if the name needs 
resolution and isn't resolved locally.
