Maybe. It depends on the application and if the application has been optimized 
for the P4.

After doing some more reading about the P4, it sounds like the only situation 
where it will do better is something that needs to access a lot of memory in 
sequential order. Like video editing or encoding mp3's.

Intel screwed up when they reduced the size of the L1 cache. 8K? What were they 
thinking?
