Nothing under USER... under SYSTEM, there's the following: %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\WBEM To me, that would seem to imply that it would look at the COMMAND.COM version in C:\WINNT\System32 prior to the one in C:\, but that wasn't the case. In any event, for now, I've renamed C:\COMMAND.COM to COMMAND.BAK, and that solves THAT problem. (As long as I don't need to boot to a DOS prompt, I'll be fine!) ....
