Not sure what the filename was, because I don't think I have the original archive. I think it can be had from thebbs.org, or I can zip it up and send it to you if you'd like it. MG>> Someone should take pity on us NT Fidonetters, and write a real MG>> fossil driver for NT based OS's... RT> That'd have to kludge the OS then? Maybe not... I think basically Winfossil acts like a serial port translator, telling Windows what it expects to hear, while telling the DOS app what it expects to hear. It seems the initial problems I had with Winfossil NT were due to me not having the fossil driver properly enabled. Unlike Winfossil for Win 9x, it does not automatically start on boot up; you have to instead invoke it either from AUTOEXEC.NT, or in a batch file with the command "wnfossil.exe" Also, due to me having a different modem on my NT machine than my BBS machine, I had to change some of the Binkley configuration. I played with it tonight, and I managed to get it working properly. I polled my BBS machine using Winfossil/NT and Binkleyterm/DOS under NT 4.0, and it seemed to work well. I'll test Mystic BBS/DOS 1.07.3 with Winfossil/NT and see if it works. I'll post here about how it goes. --- GoldED/386 3.0.1-dam3 * Origin: MikE'S MaDHousE: WelComE To ThE AsYluM! (1:134/11) .
