I don't recall 100%, because I don't have it working right now, but I think how 
I had it working the one time it did, was by calling a fossil within the DOS 
box itself. Not all fossils work under NT, and not all mailers, but I did once 
have BinkleyTerm answering incoming calls on the NT machine. Even if you can 
get the connection to work, handing it off to a BBS provides yet another 
stumbling block.

There never was a complete fossil written for NT; Winfossil tried to make one, 
but it didn't work well, and the others that are out there are geared to using 
telnet connections, adding fossil support for DOS doors.

Someone should take pity on us NT Fidonetters, and write a real fossil driver 
for NT based OS's...
