You boot with the XP cd and select "recovery console" during the setup. Once you're there, it'll ask you which Windows installation you wish to log onto. Once you select that, it'll ask you for that administrative password for that installation (which I assume you'll only have one). Once you're in, use the MOST basic DOS commands (I've found some don't work.....for example, cd\ might whereas cd \ won't or something to thatn effect) to browse to wherever those temporary files are located, and then erase them.
