Note that Microsoft dropping support does not mean that NT4 will suddenly stop working. It DOES mean that MS will no longer make security patches and service packs for it, and will take no responsibility for ensuring that new releases of its other products (such as Office) will run on it-- in fact, they will try to ensure that new Office releases will NOT run on it, to help motivate you to upgrade. But as long as you're happy with the applications and peripherals you're currently using, you can continue to use NT4 more or less forever. I've got a school full of Win95B systems which is also no longer supported-- but see no reason (and have no budget) to upgrade the operating systems, applications, or hardware. As long as each continues to meet the needs of the school, its students and teachers, we'll keep using them. .... * email to: alan@zisman.ca ___ MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.43 --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: COMM Port OS/2 juge.com 204.89.247.1 (281) 980-9671 (1:106/2000) .
