We do provide discussions on anything that is Windows 2000 related whether it be BBS questions, compatibility issues, or just wanting to discuss the functionality of the operating system. We realize this product is still new and in many areas, may not be territory that we're all familar with so therefore this echo is to allow anyone who has any questions which are directly or indirectly related to Windows 2000 to proposes those questions and get their desired responses that which they need. Currently, this conference is available to all persons even if they are programmers, developers, users, or operators of Windows 95, 98, NT, or 2000 machines. The Moderator retains the right to close to Conference to SysOps or specific groups of individuals without prior notice. As moderator, I ask that all SysOps try to monitor messages published here by their clients/callers to related topic material that pertains to this conference purposes. Rules for the WIN2000 - Windows 2000 Support Echo ************************************************* 1. No BBS advertisements are welcome in the Conference. A simple "Hello, I'm new here" will do perfectly fine. 2. Product advertisements -ARE- welcome under the following conditions: a. Keep advertisements to -ONE PAGE or LESS- (where one page references to 40 lines or less) which includes tearlines and useless data such as the offline reader signature lines, etc. b. Advertisements should be written to convey strict PROFESSIONALISM of both the advertiser and audience. c. Products advertised must be DIRECTLY used on the Windows 95/98/NT/2000 systems. We realize this is a wide range, so please use good judgement in what needs to be advertised. d. Price of product may be included in advertisement at poster's discretion. e. Either a FidoNet node number, phone number or mail address should be provided as a courtesy means of contact. f. The Moderator will have the final decision as to what products and/or services are appropriate to advertise. 3. *FLAMING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED TO ANY EXTENT* Period! This is regardless of person, vendor, product, service whether they are a participant or not of this echo. 4. Please keep all messages -ON TOPIC-.
