Subj : W2K Rescue Disk To : ALAN ZISMAN From : CHRIS CRANFORD Date : Sun Sep 08 2002 04:05 am -> After installing W2K SP1, I created a Recovery diskette, using the Backup's -> Emergency Repair Disk function... -> The disk, however, is not bootable-- am I missing something? How is it intended -> to be used? Alan, In order to create a bootable disk for Windows 2000, there should be a file on the CD called "MAKEBOOT.EXE" if I recall correctly. Also, if your BIOS supports booting from CD-ROM, you can always boot from CD-ROM if you ever have any problems with the Windows 2000 installation and you need to repair it.
