Thanks much, it's appreciated. You're welcome. After sending the message and the feedback, I realized that it would be important to keep the traffic here to asure that we continue to have a Windows 2000 echo. So, i'm just going to modify the conference description to be anything related to Windows 2000 Issues. -> I've looked high and low for virtual port software for Win2k, -> but none that I can find. IF Diedrick Allen (author of NetModem) -> would release the ever evasive NT version, perhaps our problems -> would be solved, and also a big IF is that it were compatable -> with Win2k... This is true. I have had a lot of applications that were not compatible with windows 2000 from windows nt because of the drivers that it uses are different. Most of the drivers were compiled on Win9x boxes and stuff so the DLLs would only run on WinNT/9x boxes. That is why I have not upgraded my servers to Windows 2000 yet. I just run Windows 2000 on my laptop. I now have gotten a little more time on my hands now with some recent personal life changes, so I should be able to focus on programming some more. If I knew what all was involved, I'd write a COM/IP program now. I can not be that difficult.
