AR>looks like ntldr, ntdetect.com, boot.ini are copied to c:\ A frequent problem is installing on an IDE hard drive that is larger than 8GB and with a BIOS that doesn't support the INT13 extensions to support booting the larger disk sizes. The limitation is 512 bytes/sector * 63 sectors/track * 256 heads * 1024 cylinders = 7.875GB. What happens is one or more files get copied to a location higher than the 8GB location and the file can't be accessed. Once the driver is loaded to support the larger partitions, no problem but you have to get to that point first. Reduce your partition size to 8064MB or less and it should work fine. I generally use 8000MB since it's easier to remember... ___ *Durango b211 * DurangoMail for Windows NT/9x --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: COMM Port OS/2 juge.com 204.89.247.1 (281) 980-9671 (1:106/2000) .
