The only thing I haven't tried is moving the PRINT window and then shutting the system down on the chance that may save some setting. There's quite a few of us old OS/2 diehards out here yet but in all honesty Win2000 Pro has become my main OS. I have Win98, Warp 4.0, and Linux RH 7.1 also installed on my system but use Win2000 to run my dual processors. As you say there is too much software and hardware that will no longer run under OS/2.
