While I can't remember how I did it, there's a registry setting to do this in
NT and, I suspect, in W2K and XP.  Go to support.microsoft.com, use the search
feature selecting Windows 2000 as the product and use numlock as the search
phrase.  Your answer should be one of the selected articles...
