How can i get rid of the anoying post on windows -> 95/98 "Couldn't find any -> Domain Servers to validate you password" they say i should install a DNS -> server but i did and dind't solve my problem, How do i set this Up?. CC>Can you afford to upgrade to Windows 2000? Win95/98 aren't very good CC>operating systems .... at least in our opinion it isn't. CC>To get rid of the error, we suggest you remove the machines from the CC>network if his is something you can do. You may want to search the CC>Network properties CC>configuration in our Win9x setup. Make sure you're connecting as a CC>WORKGROUP instead of as a domain and that may also help you out too... I would remove the domain logon selection in the network control panel (Client for MS Networking). If there's no domain to authenticate to, there is no reason to have this selected. If there *IS* a domain and the users are supposed to be authenticating to it, you may need to use an LMHOST entry to help locate it (usually caused by multiple subnets). If possible, put a BDC on each subnet. ___ *Durango b211 * DurangoMail for Windows NT/9x --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: COMM Port OS/2 juge.com 204.89.247.1 (281) 980-9671 (1:106/2000) .
