If turning off the modem and turning it back on seems to work then it sounds like it could be the modem. Make sure that your router is renewing the IP address as it should as well. You can check this out by by telneting to your router and entering the following commands: [24] - System Maintenance [1] - System Status You should see an IP and a IP Mask listed with DHCP=Client for the WAN port. If you see this and you can ping that ip address, then that means it's a problem with the modem I think.
