I think the activation scheme may not las -> or rest in good standing with Microsoft's customer IMO. I will say that XP of any flavor will *not* be installed on any of the nearly 50 computers I'm responsible for. I object very strongly to the heavy-handed approach MS has taken with this software. And the thinly veiled threats contained in the recent letters from MS and their "affiliate" the Business Software Alliance have got me seriously looking at Linux. They threaten six-figure fines if they find unlicensed software on any computers in your business. And they claim that most snitching is from disgruntled employees. Not only am I looking at Linux, I'm seriously considering boycotting all the members of this Business Software Alliance. Heavy handed and Draconian measures that imply I'm guilty until proven innocent stick in my craw. I'll be quiet now. -c- --- ViaMAIL!/WC v1.60d * Origin: Chowdanet (401-331-5587) telnet://chowdanet.com (1:323/120) .
