This is good! -> There are differences between Home and Pro, the Home wont have the remote -> desktop and wont have IIS and all that. Which is a reason not to upgrade to Home.. :) -> Its a feature first introduced in ME, but it has uses for all types of users. -> It beats the khrap out of having to do a reinstall because you dont know exactly -> where a screwup is, all you have to know is when it occurred and restore/rollback -> the system to a point in time that you know everything is pristine. Where does it do the storage of the image to rollback to? What is the time involved in doing a restore? -> Oh I dont think many people will like it.... Nope, I doubt it. Too many people want to purchase 1 license of software and install it on all their machines :) -> Nope... If I drop to a command prompt and type " L: ", it says the drive isnt -> there, but once I do that thing in My Computer, and return to the command prompt -> and try again, success.. If I cant do it first from the command prompt, then -> no automation from a batch file will work. Hmm, interesting. I thought that would work. Aren't you running WINS? Why don't you setup wcNetRunner to execute a command on that 2k machine? That command could be the net command to re-connect the shares it has to the XP box? You could put this in a batch file in the startup folder when the XP machine restarts. -> It has several predefined services defines, such as FTP, SMTP, HTTP and so -> on, but once enabled it blocks everything, unless you tell it what to exempt, -> such as FTP and so on, you can add your own exemptions by specifying the port. Not too bad. I've got a nice router/firewall I bought from netgear. I wanted to upgrade the firmware on it but not sure if it'll cause problems :) Chris --- Mail-ennium/32 v1.0.236 * Origin: www.tkdsoftware.com - Mail-ennium/32 Mail Tosser Home (1:379/1200.0) .
