Subj : New Installation of PXW/WIN in W2000 To : Paul Kerr From : Chris Cranford Date : Fri Nov 23 2001 11:08 am -> I could use some help in installing WINServer and PX for Windows in Windows -> 2000. Any and all would be much appreciated. For example: How do I get the -> PXW -> install to recognize where C:\WC5 is? I did read something about %path% but -> can't seem to get a workable result. Samples would help:) My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced Tab -> Environment Variables Then in the system variables list, find the variable name "path" and edit it. Put "c:\wc5;" before the contents that already exists in this variable. This puts your wildcat home directory in the path. Then, close all your MS-DOS windows sessions in order for the new path parameter to take affect. At this point, when you run PXW from in the PX directory, it should find Wildcat! with no probs.
