You can tell XP to use the "Classic Look", but the taskbar organization is still there, a great improvement.. There are differences between Home and Pro, the Home wont have the remote desktop and wont have IIS and all that. Its a feature first introduced in ME, but it has uses for all types of users. It beats the khrap out of having to do a reinstall because you dont know exactly where a screwup is, all you have to know is when it occurred and restore/rollback the system to a point in time that you know everything is pristine. If I drop to a command prompt and type " L: ", it says the drive isnt there, but once I do that thing in My Computer, and return to the command prompt and try again, success.. If I cant do it first from the command prompt, then no automation from a batch file will work. It has several predefined services defines, such as FTP, SMTP, HTTP and so on, but once enabled it blocks everything, unless you tell it what to exempt, such as FTP and so on, you can add your own exemptions by specifying the port. == Ross http://www.easternstar.info recassell@charter.net, ross@the-estar.com, ross@easternstar.info ICQ = 5305939 ....
