Well in another network, they've had similiar experiences and have comments on what SE really means ;-). The folks in GTQWK network seem to agree with my experiences.... RC³Remember 98SE was essentially released as its own version to correct mistakes ³and ommisions from the 98 version. Yeah, like the same "Bug Fixes" that every time I "Patch" Windows'2000 with the service pack 1 or update Internet Explorer, I just happen to loose the ability to print from nearly any application because 384mb of RAM isn't enough memory to load up notepad and type a 5-line message, then print to the printer, yet before the upgrade I could load up any of my word processors and print without the stupid "Not enough memory" every time you try to print.... It's those "Bug Fixes" I prefer to do without because things work a lot smoother without them.... Guess I like the bugs.... I've come to learn not to expect Microsoft to fix any bugs without creating more. --- þ OLXWin 1.00b þ This tagline stolen by Off-Line Xpress! * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:18/140) .
