I used to use an HP Scanjet 2C, which only worked under Win95 with DOS-level drivers... but that was because there were no Windows drivers for the HP SCSI adapter that shipped with the scanner. If I had used a more general-purpose SCSI adapter, I would have had no problems-- and probably better performance. ....
