I've seen them in CompUSA as you have. One thing about using a card with on board BIOS - it's going to extend the time it takes to boot the system. But that can't be helped. Whenever a system is too old to support a large hard drive, (not necessarily the 137GB barrier) I usually recommend a new motherboard. The newer boards support 48bit LBA and SATA. My current board is limited to 137GB but for now that's not a problem. I'm running XP dual booting with Win2000 and still have plenty of drive space with an 80GB and 20GB drive in the machine.
