Those CS> cards contain an on board BIOS. I looked at Promise a while back because I'd had excellent results with one of their older BIOS'ed I/O cards. I didn't see a suitable solution at their web site or in local dealerships ( though that doesn't mean it doesn't exist). Looking at www.compusa.com I see a card by Siig and one by Belkins that suit my needs here. Either card supports over 137 Gig barrier.
