I get this NTLDR not found errors are frequently caused by the loader trying to access the wrong partition. The boot partition is listed in the BOOT.INI file. Here is a copy of mine: [boot loader] timeout=5 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect The third line partition(2)\WINNT indicates that my system loads Win2000 from the second partition on Drive 0. You can try changing this value via DOSEDIT if you think it might be wrong. Also WIn2000 only supports drives over 130gb after SP3 (or maybe it's SP2 - I'm not positive). Win2000 will read and format large drives in NTFS but will only read and NOT format them in FAT32. I have a 160gb drive running on my system but have it formatted NTFS and am not using it for the Win2000 boot drive.
