Glad Alan answered your question regarding obtaining the patches and 
saving them.  BTW, you can also do that for all the operating systems 
that are currently supported.

As far as getting help from MS, unless you make a "pay" call with your 
credit card handy - no joy.  Best help aside from here is to go the MS 
support newsgroups on their server.  Point your newsreader to
msnews.microsoft.com and subscribe to the Win98 general group.  Lots of 
good stuff and help there.  You can use Outlook Express as your 
newsreader or the free version of Agent.
