It's kind of like watching paint dry. The key to running XP is memory, memory, memory. You can get by with a slower CPU as long as you have the memory to handle multi- tasking. It also depends on what you use your machine for. You can not expect decent performance if you're trying to crunch a large data base with the minimum system requirements. Your 128K of memory for XP is probably OK for what you use the machine for. But with today's prices for memory, hard drives, and even a fast CPU, it doesn't make sense. You can buy a used MB with 512K memory, 1 gig P-III CPU, PnP, auto sensing, etc, for less than $150.00. cscag@charter.net CMPQwk 1.42 1262 --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: COMM Port OS/2 juge.com 204.89.247.1 (281) 980-9671 (1:106/2000) .
