Subj : First time. To : CHARLES SCAGLIONE From : JEAN PARROT Date : Sat Aug 30 2003 10:12 am Good morning, Charles. Yesterday, I got my first flaw in W2K on the Thinkpad. I do not know nor will I ever know why, but I was U/Ling a bunch of mail on AOL and the screen turned blue, some full writeup was on it but it only flashed for a 1/2 second then the Thinkpad rebooted. I went to Search and looked for .log files and it gave me a whole bunch of them, I sorted them by date and looked at the most recent one, to no avail. It had nothing to say about the reboot. Actually not a flaw then, a disruption would be more appropriate. It ran fine since. Somebody was saying here that W2K never gets a BSoD, it just reboots for you. All same-same ? By the way, what version of Ghost are you using ? Did you get the 2003 ? Going home in a week and I will have this new-to-me MoBo to set up with a Celeron 566. Also, I got on eBay, a Digital Canon A5 camera for my daughter. Sold for $599 and I got it complete for just over $100, new batteries too. Be good. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
